A full day of creative arts therapy designed to nurture emotional literacy through hands-on expression and playful exploration. Each term follows a guiding theme, but the curriculum stays responsive, shaped by the needs, voices, and rhythms of the children themselves.
❋ What to ExpectOur Approach
❋ Program StructureAt Life Craft learning is experiential. Topics of learning for life are age appropriate and woven into our activities with care and thought. We complete one to two art/craft activities per day as well as plenty of time playing and simply being.
❋ What's IncludedAll art materials are supplied, and each session is led by a professionally trained creative arts therapist, who guides children with care and encouragement. Parents must provide lunch, snacks, water and sun protection.
❋ Session LengthsHeld weekly during Queensland school term, each session runs for five and a half hours from 9:30 to 3pm. This allows enough time for focus, flow, and reflection within a relaxed, nurturing environment.
❋ Age GroupsFor ages 7 to 12, sessions build confidence, encourage creativity, and support emotional growth. Tuesday’s curriculum explores friendship, understanding our emotions, and developing positive coping skills.

Tuesdays at Life Craft are centred on emotional literacy, self‑awareness, and creative exploration. Through art and creativity, children learn positive coping skills and are encouraged to stretch gently into new experiences, discovering confidence along the way. Each session offers a nurturing environment with space for autonomy, allowing students to make choices, express themselves, and shape their own creative journey.

Wednesdays are a dynamic day of creative exploration for curious minds. Students dive into collaborative and solo art projects shaped by a term theme, but always with room to roam. The curriculum is alive, responsive, and designed to spark imagination, emotional insight, and bold self-expression.

Thursdays
A joyful day of art, craft and play designed for younger children to explore their world and themselves. With themes like self-care, family, friendship, and nature, each session invites gentle expression and creative play, nurturing emotional literacy through connection, colour, and curiosity.

Holidays
Lifecraft Holiday Workshops offer children aged 7–12 a full day to create, explore, and unwind. Each workshop includes two or three rich art and craft projects, with plenty of space for imagination, autonomy, and joyful making. These cosy, connection-filled days provide a nurturing place for children to spend their holidays while parents enjoy a little breathing room.

Life Craft is designed for children aged 7–12, offering creative, emotion-based learning experiences that meet each child where they are, no matter their skill level or learning style.

Not at all. While many of our families homeschool, Life Craft welcomes all children who are able to attend, be they homeschooled, flexi-schooling or otherwise.

Our day begins in circle at 9:30am where we chat about the topic of learning and flow of the day. Children complete one to two art activities each day and spend plenty of time outdoors. We regroup and reflect before finishing the day at 3pm.

A packed lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and clothing suitable for creative work and outdoor play. We encourage comfortable clothes that can get a little messy, that’s part of the fun!
