Life Craft Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Life Craft. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and creative environment for children through our holistic homeschool programs. By enrolling in our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Prices and Fees

Session fees are outlined at the time of booking and may vary depending on the type of service.

Life Craft homeschool program costs $70 per child per day. 

2. Payment for Services

Payment is due at the time of making the booking, unless otherwise arranged.

In the event payment is not made on time, invoices will be issued via email and can be paid via bank transfer / PayPal.

Late payments may incur an admin fee of $10 for each additional invoice sent or may result in suspension of services until payment is received.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a $35 credit to be put towards any holiday program. 

Cancellations made within 24 hours will not receive a credit nor refund to honour preparation time.

No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session fee, with no refund nor credit.

4. Our Services

Life Craft offers a homeschool emotional literacy program grounded in the creative arts therapies, for children aged 6 to 15.

Sessions are designed to meet the emotional and developmental needs of each age group, fostering authentic expression, emotional insight, and creative confidence.

Life Craft does not offer formal art technique instruction unless explicitly stated.

5. Code of Conduct

We ask all participants and families to treat facilitators, peers, learning spaces and materials, with respect.

Disruptive or unsafe behaviour will be handled with compassion, but may result in a child being asked to leave a session or program to ensure group safety and cohesion.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children arrive and depart safely and on time.

6. Child Safety

Life Craft is committed to child safety and adheres to Queensland’s child protection guidelines.

All facilitators hold current Working With Children Checks (Blue Cards).

Life Craft participants may engage in outdoor activities including, but not limited to, tree climbing, walking on uneven surfaces such as rocks, and wading in Currumbin Creek; in the event of a medical emergency, the organiser, Bobby Napier, is authorised to seek appropriate medical assistance, and will contact the parent or guardian as soon as reasonably practicable.

Any concerns regarding child safety will be handled with sensitivity and in accordance with legal obligations.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

Life Craft respects your privacy. Personal information collected during registration is kept confidential and used only for service delivery.

We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

Session content is confidential, except in cases of risk to self or others.

8. Security

Life Craft takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all participants during sessions.

Online sessions are conducted via secure platforms (e.g., Zoom) and follow best practices for digital safety.

9. General

Life Craft reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.

By participating in Life Craft programs, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
